With Muhammad Ichlas (Doug Berch)
is a representative of The Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order. He is a dervish of Sheik Nur al Jerrahi (Lex Hixon) and his successor, Sheikha Fariha al Jerrahi. Muhammad Ichlas leads zikr and guides dervishes in theLansing area.

 

Zikr is the remembrance or awareness of non-duality. The goal of Sufism is to live consciously in the moment, the non dual present. The core practice of Sufism is zikr.


This will be an experiential retreat open to all whose hearts are drawn to come.

We will discuss and practice a variety of forms of Sufi zikr/meditation.
The morning session will include discussion of the various types of zikr practice. The afternoon will be a zikr intensive where we will practice active, passive, dynamic, silent, still and moving zikr in a variety of forms and expressions.

1:00PM - 2:00PM break for lunch
2:00PM - 6:00PM zikr
