How ANGER can identify with a ROLE one is in.
How ADDICTION can fall into various ROLES.
Ways that ADDICTION of one person in the family unit creates ANGER in other family members.

Shirley Saxinger, MSW

BIO:

Shirley Saxinger, MSW, social worker, therapist, has worked with adolescents-at-risk and their families, adults with mental illness or addictions, homeless adults, ex gang members, the disenfranchised population, and families. She has experience through Thresholds Psychiatric Rehabilitation in Chicago. Currently at Holy Family Hospitals Keys to Recovery addiction program in Illinois she works with individuals and their families from the suburbs and city. Shirley was on the planning committees for family education and led groups at Thresholds and Keys to Recovery including various hospitals. Her undergrad in Social Work is from Northeastern IL U. and her MSW is from Grand Valley State U. She interned at Corner Stone Mental Health Depart. in Grand Rapids, MI. Shirley was a long-time friend and student of the late Dr. Ram N. Singh, from GVSU and his wife Usha and family.
