In the ancient world our ancestors worshiped the Divine  as  both Feminine and Masculine. In The West, this practice has survived primarily thru the veneration of the Virgin Mary  in whose honor many of the great cathedrals of the 12th and 13th centuries  such as Notre Dame and Chartres were constructed.

In India , The Mother Worship tradition has, for millenia, continued unabated . The Mother is worshiped there in many forms some very ancient some very recent. Dena Blay-Stroba, OCDS, bridges the Catholic and Hindu traditions. She is a Lay Carmelite spiritual director as well as  an initiated disciple of Swami Bhashyananda  She is a Director of the Institute's 9 month World Wisdom  Certification class. For the past tweny years she has  both studied and practiced devotion to the Universal Mother.
