"Voices of Our Ancestors"

11am 12/31

Communion with and honoring of ancestors was a daily part of the life of indigenous peoples, yet plays very little part in Western society.

Various Ways to access the wisdom of our  ancestors is the topic of this talk.

The Language of Spirit

2-4pm

The focus of this workshop will be a fire ceremony passed down from Grandmother Twylah Nitsch of the Seneca Nation which dates from the 16th century. Through it, we open our hearts to be receptive to what we need and show our appreciation for what the Great Mystery has created and made available to us.

Our time together will include song,  teachings and an opportunity for personal prayer.

Molly Larkin is the adopted daughter of both Grandfather Wallace Black Elk [Lakota] and Grandfather Marcellus Bear Heart Williams [Muskogee Creek].
