Join us for Drumming to honor Mother Earth at Mid-Summer Solstice Time here in S.W.  Michigan.

The sound and feel of the Drum has in all cultures been used to connect the human heart with the heart beat of Mother Earth. We will participate in a drumming ritual, celebrating the longest day in the year All our relatives in the Planetary web are welcome :  Human , Animal, Plant and Mineral Beings; please gather with us for a Waking- Up-To- Summer Celebration An important way to deepen awareness of our Spiritual Foundation  in Michigan's soil. .

The Drum has, in all cultures, been used for millenia to connect the human heart with the heart beat of Mother Earth. Soils are not "just dirt". A spadefull of rich garden soil may harbor more species than the entire Amazon Rainforest! Two thirds of Mother Earth's creatures --Her Biodiversity- lives in soil and underwater sediments; a micro-menagerie that includes uncatalouged millions of microbes, mainly bacteria and fungi; single celled protozoa and countless other living things to numerous to detail here. These unseen friends are Eath's life support system one not found so far elsewhere in the solar system.[see"UnderGround; How Creatures of Mud and Dirt Shape our World" by Baskin]

The soil we walk on is the very foundation of not only all our nutrients but is also the main thermostat for earths climate and the basis of the photo-synthesis that turns sunshine into tomatoes. All our relatives in the Planetary web are welcome : Human , Animal, Plant and Mineral Beings.
