Becoming
Whole Through Conflict
A multimedia presentation by Peter C. Hart
May

Martin Luther king and Rosa
Parks
Conflict is pervasive. Though we fear it, we cannot escape
it. From Gandhi, Jung and Jesus we learn a profound truth: we cannot achieve
wholeness without it. We must lean into conflict to discover whom we are at a
deeper level, to create better relationships with others and to live in
community.
Using a multimedia presentation, Peter Hart will explore
with us how we can journey on a spiritual quest for wholeness inspired by the
insights of Gandhi, Jung, Jesus and Socrates and enriched by the findings of
modern science in areas such as emotion, neural pathways, intuition and our
adaptive unconscious.
The presentation will conclude with practical strategies
for dealing with conflict in ways that help us move in the direction of
wholeness.
Peter C. Hart is President of Dialoggers, Inc. He develops
courses and simulations about negotiation and collaboration that are offered at
Hope College and are available online at
