John Dobson, founder of the San Francisco
Sidewalk Astronomers and the inventor of the revolutionary “Dobsonian”
telescope, has done it. He does it through a unique interpretation
of the fundamental equations of modern physics coupled with an understanding
of ancient wisdom as expressed in the Upanishads.
Neil Feldman is President and owner of Video Post &
Transfer, Inc., a 25 year-old video and film post-production company based
in Dallas, Texas. He is also Senior Vice President and co-owner
of In-Three, Inc. based outside of Los Angeles, California. In-Three
is a 6 year-old “startup” company that has pioneered the first
commercially viable process for converting 2D films and videos into truly
believable and spectacular 3D images. (Look for their first “Dimensionalized”
block-buster movie(s) to be released in 3D Digital Cinema’s in the
next year or so.)
Neil was Initiated by the President of the Sri Ramakrishna Order, Swami
Vireswarananda, in 1974. He is also a disciple of Mataji Bandana
Puri Devi of the Sri Sri Saradeshwari Ashram in Kolkata.
Neil first met John Dobson while observing Halley’s Comet at the
Ganges Monastery in 1986. Yet Neil’s very first comet sighting
occurred many years earlier, in December 1973, while visiting Mayavati
(in the Himalayas) alongside Swami Tapasananda and Swami Atmalokananda.
