Fred Stella, President of Interfaith Dialogue Association completed a 3
      week, 25 city lecture tour of India in February of this year.He was sponsored by
      the social service organization, Vivekananda Kendra.
     The purpose of this venture was to offer help in the nonviolent
     resistance to the aggressive evangelical activity that is pervasive in
     the tribal regions of the country.

       During his tour, Fred spoke to thousands of people in schools, civic
     auditoria, temples & village fields. His talks attempted to embolden
     their efforts in preserving the indigenous cultures that have sustained
     these communities for millennia. He will share with us his experiences, &
     address the subject of creating religious harmony in such a divisive
     atmosphere.
