Tasting a Larger Reality:
Insights from the Persian Sufi Poets

David and Sabrineh Fideler

Sunday, November 5th

Mothers Trust / Mothers Place Lakeshore Interfaith Institute

What is the relationship of the individual human being to the larger reality from which we have originated?

This presentation will explore the answers offer in response to this central human question by the Persian Sufi poets. As part of the presentation, David and Sabrineh Fideler will offer readings from their recently published book, Love's Alchemy: Poems from the Sufi Tradition, which contains the works of 70 poets, including Rumi, Hafiz, Attar, Sa'di, and many others. They will also perform some poems in Persian and English with accompaniment on traditional instruments. Book signing to follow.
