SYMBOLS
OF FAITHS |
| |
When
you walk through the doors of our temple, you will find symbols
of various religions. Shintoism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam,
Zorast-rianism, Taoism, Hinduism, Native American, Buddhism,
Jainism and Judaism. These traditions are a few of the many
faiths that are discussed and shared in our Interfaith Programs
and Sunday Services. Individuals and groups interested in
renting the center for a day for $75.00 should contact president,
Peter Chilstrom at (269) 543-3951. Interfaith Weddings and
holidays are a great success.

INTERFAITH
TRAILS
|
| |
The
center maintains a series of trails throughout the property.
The paths wind around the main buildings and disappear into
the woods and fields. All together, the trails are several
miles in length and suitable for quiet reflective walks. Signs
with sayings from world religions, veiled among the trees,
and flowers blooming along the path, remind us of the beauty
of nature. There are meditation huts and benches
along the way for rest and contemplation.

SACRED
SITES |
| |
The
Labyrinth, Medicine Wheel, Interfaith Trails, Hidden Shrines,
Sacred Fires, Drumming Circles and Meditation Huts are a few
sacred sites found on the beautiful landscaped and wooded
15 acres of the property. Weekend programs describe the sacred
nature of ritual and ceremony, as practiced in world faiths
and rites of passage worldwide. A guided meditation walk on
the labyrinth is always popular with our visitors. Flyers
of programs and events are available in the building.
